Another "Final Notice" to get lower credit card rates. I pressed "1" to talk with someone and asked to be removed from the calling list. They immediately hung up on me. I have reported them on the "Do Not Call Registry" (https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2 ) and would encourage you to do the same.
Just got this call too, but let it go to voicemail. They didn't leave a message. I don't have any credit cards nor did I apply to Sears or Citibank. I'm on the Do Not Call list too. So very annoyed. But since they called my cell, I'm able to block the call.
I didn't answer this one but have received several others from various numbers concerning credit card rates. Reported to donotcall and NC atty General previously, they are aware of problem but since scammers have so much privacy protection it may never be resolved.
What's up with these phone calls? My number is also on DNC list and this is the 2nd strange phone no. on my cell in the past two weeks. When I didn't recognize the number, I just let it just appear as a missed call and then put on the reject list.
when are you people gonna realize that the DNC makes no difference and these people dont care if you're on the list or not? and go ahead and report all these unknown numbers it does no good. If you get a call from a number you dont recognize, especially an out of state or toll free number, just DONT ANSWER it. If its legit they will leave a message or call back. And dont give out your cell phone number on bank or credit card applications or the web.
This number is "disconnected from service" when attempting to call it. I'm sure that is a recording on their end to blow smoke. This is a very shady company, watch yourself!
