you were NOT talking to a 'real person', it was a recording. A clever recording that you discover is a recording because it doesn't stop when you talk. Report all junk calls on the Do Not Call Registry website.
Caller doesn't leave a message. Caller ID says: Ponte Vedra, FL
When you call back you get an automated message:
"The survey you have called for has ended. If you would like to be removed from our list, please press..."
Another new number. So many scam calls from 904 and esp Ponte Vedra on the cell. Block them all. Best answer is now to use the DND feature on your cell. Only contact calls go through. Rest are silenced. Scam to sell your info more and record your voice for fake debt scams.
Yeah, I just picked up and you can tell it's pre-recorded (even though the man on the phone sounds lively) and they're offering "free vacation packages" that you've "won" for Disney (never signed up and I already have Disney's Annual Pass)...clearly this is related to my frequent trips to Orlando, I'm just curious how they even get our information. When I asked who they were there was a slight pause and then you could tell it was a pre-recorded answer again, don't remember the company name but it was vague sounding...the first question that came out was "Now our records show that you have a valid drivers license and are over the age of 28?" and that's when I figured they were trying to get me to say "yes" so I just hung up.
