you were NOT talking to a 'real person', it was a recording. A clever recording that you discover is a recording because it doesn't stop when you talk. Report all junk calls on the Do Not Call Registry website.
Yet another phone number from the famous car warranty scammers using a bunch of different Florida based phone numbers to call. This time it was a recording that says "Hi, this is Alison calling from the warranty dept..." -- I said "I am on the Do Not Call List" but 'Alison' just kept talking, obviously this is a recording that comes on immediately upon you picking up the phone. Report these bogus calls to the Do Not Call registry and start documenting each and every harrassing call you get. Let's shut these scammers down!
Called back twice. Was determined to keep dialing them until they just block my number... On second time after pressing 9 got the following: "Your number is now removed from our calling list." Ha! Will see.
3-28-17 -- Just received a call at 3:53pm eastern from 904-834-4694 on my cell. Caller ID showed "Ponte Vedra Beach, FL." I did not answer nor was a message left. Blocked.
Caller ID: PNTVDRABCH, FL. Brand new number. Went active today. Disney scam? I haven't been to Disney in years. My free-robo call blocker shut them down after one ring.
