These people are calling every single day. Same indian accent, from different numbers 905-550-2233, 905-844-4166, 905-417-4359
What I do not understand, that after hundres of complains, that CTRC or whoever responsible for the law of the telemarketers, find this Air Duct company and make them pay a penalty to call private number which are registered under the "not to call list". What is the point to register with them if the authorities who created this" Not to call list" don't do anything about it. It seems somebody created this usless registry or created a job for himself and now they don't do anything about it. An other wasted tax payer's money. Very frustrating.
Caller ID is Darlene Linton (fake name) and when I picked up it was an air duct cleaning telemarketer from India (Indian accent). Name masking is very annoying and illegal. I don't understand how it is illegal to have a false phone number/name and yet I still get a ton of these types of calls. Why can't the CRTC make it mandatory to have the national telecom carriers to validate any phone call's true owner and number identity. If the incoming call to be routed does not match the true source it should be automatically terminated and not be allowed to route to any recipient. We can send people to outer-space but we can't figure this out?
This has become very annoying, I've done everything from having fun with them to keeping them on the line and wasting their time (which also wastes mine)my next plan is to actually set up fake appointments at fake addresses...since no one else seems to be interested in doing anything about this problem its up to us.....believe me if enough of us set up fake appointments the companies hiring these call centers will be rethinking their marketing methods....wasted time is money to these duct cleaning companies.....
