Subject: Call from an attorney about a payday loan
I received a call from an attorney saying they were going to be sending the sheriff to serve me court papers for a payday loan that I never paid back. They said it went to two collection agencies that both contacted me. I was never contacted by either of them. They scared me by saying I needed to hire a criminal lawyer because I was being charged with check fraud and also a civil lawyer because I did not pay the loan back. I am not sure if what they are doing is legal.I did find the name of this company. Have you ever heard of them?
