The guy who called today, 3/2/15, was so rude! I kept asking him what company he was from and it was getting him mad that I would not asnwer his questions. I love messing with these people who call thinking they are getting over on me. They ask me if I can make decisions on the account among other questions so with every question they ask me, I ask them one. I tell them I can make decisions on the account so they will get to the point of their call. Once they give their malarchy sales pitch I tell them in a sweet sarcastic voice, "Oh darn, I am sorry, I am not the one who can make that decision afterall but I can tell you that we are not interested in changing our plan! Have a nice day!"
I got a call today from the same number but they said they were from JCP & L. They were nice enough but talked in circles when I asked them questions. I got switched to another person to verify the call and she said that our bill will say Champion Energy.
CALLED MY WORK AND ASKED ME BY MY FIRST NAME; VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND HUNG UP THE CALL BEFORE I EVEN GOT TO THE PHONE. WHEN I CALLED BACK AND ASKED WHAT THIS WAS IN REFERENCE TO, THE PERSON ASKED IF I WAS THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MY PSE&G BILL AND I ASKED WHO IT WAS AND WHERE THEY WERE CALLING FROM AND THE NATURE OF THEIR CALL AND THEY DID NOT PROVIDE THAT INFORMATION. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I DID NOT GIVE THEM MY NAME OR ADDRESS OR ANY TYPE OF INFORMATION AND THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS FOR A RATE REDUCTION IN WHICH I TOLD THEM THAT I WAS NOT INTERESTED. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS AND THIS BUSINESS IS A SCAM.
They call asking for either the one responsible for our JCP&L bill or PSE&G, or want to survey or asks for people not involved with process. Basically its a cold call. Also if you look them up (which ever company they claim to be from) their BBB, DnB, and other ratings are terrible. Mostly complaints of misrepresentation of services and customer services unprofessional means of soliciting or handling complaints.
