That's interesting I got a call from this number on Sep 27 trying to beg or scam for money claiming to be a a "police charity", I told the them the same thing i said about 4 months earlier. Then on Sep 30 at about the same time as the guy with the previous post watching the NFL football game a call comes in and flashes the number on the caller id and then switches to "out of area" and hangs up without saying anything. So, I dial star 69 and get the above number (908) 374-7826. Then I call it back and get the same guy asking me if I would accept a "pledge kit" for the "police charity" and I had cussed him out. Interestingly enough there was a statickey echo effect to the guys voice making it sound like a recording however it was clearly a live person responding to back and forth
Calls every day around 9:15. don't answer. I figure if it was important they would leave a message. I reported the number to the national do not call registry but don't expect anything from them.
