Initially i thought it is a scam but later on the guys on the phone turned out the agents from microsoft. They Were trying to help me out with my computer problems..
Really? Are you sure they weren't Agents of SHIELD? I don't think they fix computers tho'. Usually chasing the Hulk. Fighting Baron Zemo. Doin' pills with Hank Pym. Which is a good idea when you're looking at all that Jim Steranko art.
They called a me few times and were rather pushy trying to make me press certain buttons on the computer (cntrR), saying that microsoft will compensate me money becouse something was not updated or installed, told me something about warnings that they can see in their system(??) Something about viruses that I've got on my computer .I don't believe them, one of them said: "just do what I told you.." Really? There is something wrong about those guys! They all had pakistani or indian accent, by the way..
Today, Oct. 28/14 I received a call from 908-358-6829, name Kevin Barker, said he was calling for Microsoft Windows, and that my computer was showing viruses; said he was in Vancouver, B.C. Told him I was busy and he called back a few hours later, and I told him to stop calling. I had heard about these calls, and yes his accent was as others have reported, East Indian or Pakistani.
