These people are fishing!
They send you a text message stating that there is something wrong with your BoA card/account.
They want you to call them at: 1-908-542-1895.
When you do, the first thing they want you to do is give them all your CONFIDENTIAL information starting by your SSN.
DO NOT DO IT! I reported my case to BoA's Fraud department - They are investigating it. It is a FRAUD.
Watch out bad guys. They are after you!
I got a text message on my Verizon Wireless phone, which states:
"(NETSPEND PREPARID-ALERT: 21563986) Immediate action required. Please call (908) 542-1895 and avoid loosing access your funds."
.....yes, the grammar was off, and it said "...avoid loosing access your funds.".
I got the same one (NETSPEND PREPAID - ALERT: 34106503) Immediate action required. Please call (908) 542-1895 and avoid loosing access your funds. I replied STOP thinking it was one of those automated texts... Wish I didn't now!
