These people are fishing!
They send you a text message stating that there is something wrong with your BoA card/account.
They want you to call them at: 1-908-542-1895.
When you do, the first thing they want you to do is give them all your CONFIDENTIAL information starting by your SSN.
DO NOT DO IT! I reported my case to BoA's Fraud department - They are investigating it. It is a FRAUD.
Watch out bad guys. They are after you!
I know I said "from this number" in my original post. My mistake. The text WAS sent from what appears to be an email address ([email protected]), directing me to call this number.

I live in CA and received a message from this number earlier. "(3258 Very important SMS-From:Bnk0FAmerica_Call right away at: 908-542-1895. Code: VlSA_Blocked. hxond) " Im not a customer of BofA and this is a bulls**t scam so I really hope someone is doing something about this!!! Also have been receiving phone calls from caller id "98" since then on every phone listed on my acct with Verizon... Anyone else having the same problems???
I have also received this message... I called and it immediately told me to give them my net spend bank info... I don't have a net spend account... Thought it was a bigger scam but it seems they are using this to get bank information as they are using other banks as well...
Got the text message on my phone from [email protected] stating (NETSPEND PREPAID - ALERT: 68495997) Please call our office immediately at (908)542-1895. I don't have anything prepaid.
