Just received a call from this number and the guy had a thick Indian accent and said that he was from Microsoft and he could help me fix my computer. He said that it was sending them a message that there was a problem. Hung up on the guy!
These guys will stop at nothing to separate people from their money. By these responses, it looks like this one just started and we should be able to stop it now. Here are some links to some websites that can help you report these scammers to the proper authorities.

Plus landline/telephone/cable companies are required to provide you a code to track the information on the call. I've been told they service provider is required to keep the information on file for a year.
Well I just got my first phone call from an Indian or Pakistani criminal telling me my computer was infected. I was going to start playing with him, but he hung up.
