called my house twice today, they used two different caller names. no message left either time. then called a few hours later with this number. 646-493-9929 (New York=name) Same comments in 800 notes about electric scam.
same thing happened here. Cell and house phone rang at the same time. Said that they were lowering my electric bill and that "it was their job to make sure it happens".
Have been getting calls from this number for the last 4 days. When I pick up, noone answers. The last one I said I was calling the cops to report harassment and possible scamming. Then I promptly blocked the number.
