Caller gave the name as Latasha and asked if the last 4 digits of our credit card was WXYZ. It was. They were verifying a purchase from Bed, Bath & Beyond for $305 as a gift card and mailed to CA. Would not give where purchase was made, on all the digits of the credit card. Am changing cards just in case.
This is indeed Bed Bath and Beyond. I got the call, and as I am used to getting spam calls, I told them they had wrong number. I immediately got an order inquiry from Bed Bath & Beyond on my email that looked sketchy. I called real BBB customer service line and was alerted that this was indeed BBB, the call from Latasha was a call from their corporate office, and as a 1st time online customer, they had to verify some info. When in doubt, call the company and verify.
I received an email from BBB to call this number to verify my order. The lady sounded like she was sleeping and I was bothering her, terrible customer service, and she asked me 1000 questions about my order I almost hang up on her.
