They get really rude when you tell them you aren't who they ask for. say you owe money an I'm telling them the whole time to take me off calling list that have wrong person
Got five calls back-to-back, no messages left though. I called them back and got no answer and I let it ring until the phone system told me the call wasn't going thru.
Like many on this page...my cell phone has been getting calls from 909-539-4160 THREE times between 9AM & 3PM. I checked online to my Google Voice account and the caller's # is registered as being in CHINO, CA. The caller must just wait for the tone & make a quick audible noise to get recorded, cuz each MISSED CALL left a voicemail of about 4-10 seconds of silence. How odd. Reading the posts here has me annoyed and a tad concerned since I got a call on the house phone I'm house sitting at & only gave that # out recently for use because my cell phone (HTC Incredible, BLA!) died. I woke up to an automated female caller saying something about it being urgent regarding my credit card and then started saying that "your APR will be increasing by ten to 20 % unless you act NOW to request the 5.8% APR...". I was still much asleep and was saying, "Hello?" over & over cuz my sleepy brain didn't register that it was an automated scam, but as soon as I was about to hang up, a man came on the phone and said, "How are you doing today?" I said, "Who is this?" The guy chuckled and started to say some crap trying to make me think one of my CREDIT CARDS was being used fraudulently & the first order of business without him saying the purpose was to get me to give him my credit card#...he never said WHAT credit card. So, I told him using an automated voice manner..."The number you have dialed is registered with the United States of America Federal Trade Commission's Do Not Call Registry. Your phone number has already been identified and logged. The owner will be receiving a $10,000 fine for the first call violation and subsequent call violations will be fined at $35,000 each." Then I hung up. I wanted to just SCREAM and tell these callers what to put up their rear orifice, waking me up like that, I don't think so! Ugh.
I keep getting phone calls from 909-539-4160. I do not no the number so I do not answer but they will call back to back on my cell phone. I do not owe any one any money or have a loan that any one should be calling me about. How do I get this number to stop calling my number. I have notice another number calling also that I do not know. They will call it if I do not answer the other number. The other number is 310-540-8909. If you try an call the number back it will give a recording that the number is not in use.
