Claimed to be a fundraiser for the NC highway patrol; said I had to make a pledge/donation before he could send out information; caller seemed to be far away as the call was unclear at times.
My eighty year old mother-in-law received a call from this number. The caller identified herself as some one from the IRS. She was frightened although she doesn't owe any money to the IRS. I would like to see these people stopped from trying to scam senior citizens.
