received this call talking about I won half a million dollars. They asked it I was married when I replied yes, then all of a sudden they couldn't go further with the call until they get my husband on the line with me. I asked, "Who won the prize myself or my husband." they stated because I am married they have to tell him the good news at the same time. Yeah right is what I said,
I also got at call today stating that I had won 1/2 million dollars and wanted to know my age and when I told them they were shocked because I sounded so young. LOL Then wanted to know if I was married and I said yes and then they wanted to talk to my husband and when I said he was not here then they said they would call back and for me not to tell him because they wanted to surprise him like they did me. They also wanted to know his age and when I told them they were shocked that I would marry someone younger. LOL Also wanted to know if I had kids and if I wanted them to be notified. When I said no they said are you going to share with them. I told him I didn't know if I would or not. My money is suppose to come next Monday. Guess I will be dead from holding my breath. LOL
ME TOO! They had me on the phone for almost an hour saying they were the law office in Georgia setting up the delivery of the prize and going to save me on the income taxes due if the "bank" sending the check could send the reduced amount of money immediately to the IRS. When I told them I was the only one responsible for TAXES DUE and could send estimated tax directly to the IRS for a $500K prize from Consumers clearing Houseand not giving out any of that personal information, they hung up on me too! I had OTHER people try to scam me saying they were from the IRS and were going to come arrest me if I didn't pay them money in cash they said I owed.
