have asked several times to be removed from list there automative service ask u everytime but the calls still come I try asking a agent and they just hang up on you
Continually getting phones calls from these people offering to reduce our credit card interest rates. Have repeatedly asked them to stop calling. But, the continue to call anyway.
Yet another credit card scammer calling me... Report one for illegal robocalls, & tomorrow you get a different shell number with the exact same message.
If you have some time, before answering one of these calls, generate for yourself a fake name (using a fake name generator), complete with credit card information. They will also ask you for the telephone number on the back of your credit card. So, give them the number of the Attorney General's office in your state.
I have been getting calls from this number for a long time. VERY ANNOYING.... They say they are with "Consumer Services", "Customer Communications", "American Credit Assistance" and "Info survey".

I googled the numbers all over and cant find much.
I called some companies with SIMILAR names one of the companies I called that has a similar name, "Credit Assistance Network", the woman that I spoke to says they have been getting angry callers constantly complaining of robo-calls and it is definitely not them. She said they have been causing a lot of problems for their small family operated company is is being victimized by them as well. They do not have a robo dialer and only work off referrals. She was very nice and spent almost an hour talking to me. She gave me some information that helped me in my pursuit of these people. I wanted to mention this because she was almost in tears after I yelled at her. poor thing. (I was really pissed off until I heard her side of the story)
The best lead I found was American Credit Assistance in ORLANDO FL. I have a strong feeling this is them, but I dont know how to find them other then taking a flight to Orlando. Turns out scam boiler rooms can MASK their caller ID and it's legal in most cases. They will use a DIFFERENT company phone number to use them as a scapegoat and in some cases they will even use YOUR number.
This is my best advice:
1. Write down the day/time of each call and make notes.
2. Write down the phone number.
3. If you do not have caller ID, get it.
4. You can call your telephone carrier and get the number they called from.
5. Once you have solid evidence of exactly who called, you can then file a solid complaint with the FTC or state attorney or division of consumer services.
If this is too much for you, just change your phone number, not too hard to do.
