This stupid India guy calls saying he is "Rick Foster". That we won a grant from the government for $9,200. That we need to call the same number back and talk to "David Spencer". We called back, wondering if it was a scam, and wondered how they try get ur info... "avid Spencer", aka "Rick Foster", answered the phone. Same guy we talked to before. He said if we paid $79 through western union, he would then send $9,200 back to u through western union. My wife then got on the phone stating she was a lawyer and needed the company info. The man paused for about a minute, then started to get nasty. Stating that many people out there need this money, so we sodon't want it then fine! Lol stupid man! PEOPLE THIS IS A HUGE SCAM, IT NEEDS TO STOP BEFORE HONEST PEOPLE LOOSE MONEY!!!!!
been receiving calls from 914-214-7919 about 2 weeks. I let caller id deal with it. but my husband picked up the phone today and they said we were selected for a $9,000 grant from the government. when my husband said no thanks the caller started to get nasty.we just hung up.
This person start calling me saying I was selected to win a prize of 9,200 dollars. I told this India speaking man I was not interested. I hung up. He call again and again I him back. No answer he called me and I told him to take me off his call list he said ok and hung up. Today thanksgiving day he just called me again I told him not to call me anymore.
These people are RELENTLESS-! Today is Thanksgiving and they have called 3 times. The latest call at 8:45pm.
And they can be fairly nasty to boot- How can I stop the calls-???
I received a call yesterday from this number about a $9,200 grant. I listen to him speak and he given me another number to call to get the transaction done. I just want to know if this phone call a scam.
