got a call a on my caller id with no message. called number said it was dyna care or some care calling on behalf of the march of dimes. gave me option of being put on no-call list but then stated it might take 30 days to process
Like others said, it is the Donor call center for the march of dimes.
If you call the number back you get the recording saying:
This is the Donor Call Center for the March of Dimes and we were trying to contact you, We will call you back. [long pause - hoping people will hang up - however if you stay on the line you get] If you wish to be placed on our do not call list please press 1 [press 1] Thank you, you will be placed on our do not call list. This could take 30 days.
T has it down to a T... read their previous post and follow the instructions to avoid receiving any more calls from this number!!!
PS... SINCE IT'S A CHARITY SOLICITING FOR DONATIONS, THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST DOESN'T APPLY!!! IT IS COMPLETELY LEGAL FOR THEM TO CALL ANYONE WHO HASN'T USED THE PROCEDURE MENTIONED ABOVE TO BE PLACED ON THE DONOR CALL CENTER'S DO NOT CALL LIST.
