In Orange County, NY. Got a call at 10:01am and after 3 rings it stopped. Caller ID said State Troop. They left no message. Irratating since the first reaction is that something is wrong.
No real state trooper will make an harassing call and try to extort money from people. Just because it says State Troopers on the caller id don't mean they are the real State Troopers. The callers must be part of the Crap Service network or Rachel or something similar.
Speaks with a very heavy accent and can never pronounce your name right, I have told the 3 F***ING times to stop calling and remove my name but they don't seem to listen....
Same thing BUT each time it was a different person, twice it was a woman and this time it was a man....
Have had the call 3 times first 2 were women on other end, third time tonight was a man. I told him to remove my name and # as this was a federally registered number he started to say something about it could not be blocked and I told him I did not FUC*ING care REMOVE ME AND DO NOT CALL AGAIN!!!
Am going to call phone company to complain to them.....Each time ID comes up and says "STATE TROOP" and I know it is not the NYSP as they don't have a foreign accent like this guy did.....
Have to wonder why did we sign up for the DO NOT CALL register thing if it don't work?????
Was not home, but on caller ID it only says Yonkers, NY. On other lookup sites some said a worker's comp investigator, but that applies to no one in our household. Other reports of a white van sitting nearby by really wigs me out.
