Someone called, (he spoke broken english,) and said that the government doesn't allow us to give them your credit card or bank account numbers anymore, so he gave me a code (GG1105) and said to call back in 10 minutes. He promised a government grant in the sum of $9,200 dollars, and said it could be used for legal purposes, but not alcohol, or gambling.(How would they know if it was used for that? lol) When I called back, he said:
Walmart has a "money gram." When I go there, I needed to take 3 things, which are a picture ID, my cell phone (so he could stay on the phone with me the whole time, his name was "John Miller" his ext. was 111) and $255. Apparently, the 255 was refundable, they would send it back once we got the grant money (yeah right). I eventually hung up.
A total scam, don't waste your time with these guys!

A woman(with a thick Spanish accent) called me on Oct.13, 2015. And informed me that I am being rewarded with a US grant for some not filing bankruptcy in the last 5 years and paying my bills on time. Not sure how she received my number but, I continued to listen. I was informed that I needed to call the following #: 914-481-3261 to get all of the information in order for me to receive the grant. I called on Oct. 14, 2015 and spoke with a Mr. Steve Carter(he also had a very thick accent that wasn't English). An interesting fact is that his employment # and ext. is 119. He also asked if I knew how Money Gram worked and to take a photo I.D. to ensure that I will be able to receive the grant money. But, I told him that I wanted it in check form. Never the less, the cost to process the FREE money from the government is $207.00. WOW ! ! ! Whom ever is training these individuals is the sharpest tool in an ALL dull shed.
So PLEASE, don't fall for this.

This number called me stating that I owed $3,200 in taxes from the years dating 2009-2015. I needed to pay $1,000 immediately or else an officer would arrive at my house with an arrest warrant to arrest me.
Spoke broken English and stated that I had 48 hours to pay the $1,000.
Two messages from these idiots telling me I was being sued by the IRS. Just for the record the IRS does not sue people for taxes. They file liens or criminally prosecute. They do not contact you by phone. They send a letter.
