Got a couple calls from this number today. They claim to be from Windows stating that they have been getting something (difficult to understand what they were saying due to Indian accent) from my IP address. They wanted me to turn on my computer and they would give me my CLP number. Both times, when I would ask questions, they would get frustrated and impatient and then hangup. Anyone know anything about this?

Common scam. Originates in India. Cold calls you and tells you there something wrong with your computer. Then requests that you down load something that will give them access. They then proceed to mine your computer for information, charge you for "fixing" your computer and requests a credit card number for payment. Been around for a while. Never allow ANYONE you don't know, access to your computer and NEVER give out financial information to anyone over the phone.
