Another new number from TX instead of NY at 1215 pm PDT. Here is what I posted on other numbers for these crooks: From 212.662.1932 (was February 12, New York), August 3: Med Alert scam call at 141 pm, August 20 at 1245 pm from 518.353.4000, Albany/Schenectady NY. August 28 at 1215 pm PDT from 915.710.8581. I hung up on them. It amazes me how many men on these numbers above were clueless on how things work today. Please consider common sense! 1. The DNC List does work -- for legitimate business. 2. Crooks do not care that there is a DNC list. 3. Picking up the phone verifies you are a valid phone number. 4. Calling them back verifies you are a valid phone number. 5. Who calls from NY numbers is 99.9 percent an overseas robo calls. 6. Robo calls pay no attention to area codes or times. Report them to the FTC. There are two huge groups of med alert crooks who were tossed in jail last winter. You do not report to the FTC instead of screaming at the caller or calling them back or whining about the DNC list not working -- you are contributing to their making money. They sell your phone number to more crooks. They make more money that way than other ways a lot of times. Please, think about it, bring back common sense. These callers are copy cats of the ones jailed. These are all new numbers. Why? Someone else thought I know how to make money -- do the robo calls and scam the elderly and impaired out of their money. So -- please advise them not to pick up or interact or call back. If no answering machine, get them one. Help the seniors instead of screaming here, okay?
