Always get these calls from many different numbers, for me and my wife.They have even threaten too go to her job and lock her up. Claim and document numbers arent legal nor do they match.A lot of these are collectors trying to collect on payday loans or old debts they bought and they are past the stature of limitation or those loans are illegal, so they cant collect.As well. They will talk too anyone, so Make sure grandmothers,family and any elderly are aware of this, cause some grand parents and mothers think if there son or daughter is in trouble they will take care of it and pay and there accounts will be wiped out or debited for the sums the caller says is owed by there family member.So please, I urge you too make all family aware of these scams and they move there numbers around and constantly sell back and forth too each other, so they are hard to track, so the Consumer protection bureau will even have trouble catching thse thieves and scammers.The phone numbers change at least 2 to 3 times a year and addresses will too, they even have a way to contact the local court houses to try to make it sound legit.I lived above one at on time and the number called went right to voice mail and the number they called and recording was legit, but that was just scared tactics.And then they will also the court clerk what the court processing papers will cost to include that,.Get there name and address before moving forward , otherwise hang up , especailly if you have bad blood pressure or cant handle high pressure stress situations
Received a call from this #. Asked for me by first name only, proceeded to say that there was a judgement being filed against me. When I asked who, they started talking stupid, so I hung up.
Reading some messages about this #, it appears to be scammers.
Called at work. I answered giving the company name and department. They hung up. They called back two more times, same thing. I'd give the company name and the name of the department and they hung up.
Just started getting calls from this number recently. I usually just let it go to vm, but I answered it the other day and had the same thing happen to me. I said "Hello" twice and only got silence and then a click " as being hung up on." However, they still try calling, but I just ignore it now.
