Telling the police or anyone else won't do anything. They seriously don't care, there are far too many of these types of things going on out there. Don't bother reporting, and don't think the Do Not Call Registry means jack when it comes to things that are against the law - if they're not following that, do you really think they'll pay attention to the registry?
I keep getting calls from these creeps, too, and have been too busy to answer. Calling both my home and work numbers. Really really pissing me off that they don't even bother to leave a message.
I can't understand how this same number is used for so many different scams - highly unusual. Usually they use different numbers (they're all forged anyway).
Just block it and move on... that's what I do.. Someday there will hopefully be a more viable way of dealing with these creeps..
How is the joke on him? You'll never track him down to be ABLE to hold him responsible, and even if you could, you'd never get anywhere on it. Doesn't mean jack if you work for a law firm.
Called at 5:30 in Pacific Northwest. I never answer numbers I don't recognize so I didn't pick up, just came here to update myself on what it probably was.
called 1-11-2017 at 4-15pm and said nothing and left no voicemail. i just dont call back when that happens. scammer no doubt. these are people id like to say if you think i believe this ill sell you my watch!
