SCAM! Who knows what they even wanted but a gentleman by the supposed name of William Smith called for an individual in our office. I asked him what company he was with and he said he was not with one, but that his cousin John Marsh (March?) was friends with our employee and gave him some documents that he needed to talk about. I knew it was a scam based on the information provided and he became agitated that I was asking him questions. When I put him on hold he of course hung up.
Called our Administration Office in another city asking for me by first and last name, call was transferred to me, went through some back and forth, Indian/Pakistan caller, disconnected
Same thing this number called I answered they said can I speak with ** , I said speaking because I thought it was a customer.He say again can I spoke with ** , I sai how may I help you and he say are you sur... and hung up .
called me at my government office and asked to speak to me using my first and last name. i replied "speaking" and he then asked for my assistant instead but didn't give the correct name. i asked him to state his business at which point he hung up. he redialed almost immediately and i didn't answer. did not leave a vmail. heavy indian accent, lots of background noise.
Foreign guy called to confirm my doctor's appointment with Dr Jones. I told him I don't have an appointment with Dr.Jones. He asked "you don't have an appointment with Dr. Jones. I said no. He hangs up. Scam
he just called me back again today and said he was "john white" and asked to speak to me. i asked if he was calling from a call center and he said no. i asked the nature of his business and he said no business....i just hung up and he immediately called back but i let it go to vmail, but he didn't leave one.
