I have my own business & have received a call from this agency everyday for almost two weeks. As soon as I answer they hang up. Here is the info on PS Team Agency. It sells BC/BS Insurance, Phone number 919-459-2668, 114 Towerview Ct., Cary NC, 27513-3595, Contact Mr. Vaughn Adams. That is from the BBB (they are not part of the BBB). I intend to call the 2668# & tell them to leave me the hell alone. If that doesn't work I will draft a letter to the Attorney General Consumer Complaints State of North Carolina. I am sick & tired of the robo calls & when I get home there are as many as seven on my home phone from everyone but God himself.
Still not right but getting closer. If you request information on retirement insurance (ie: Medicare) your request goes into a pool and allows companies to provide you with information on what they have to offer or compare several companies data to you. All very legal. Keep reading replies and you will see when they finally get it right because they did a little reading.
Called our business and asked to speak with manager on duty. I said no, how may I help you, and she hung up. CID said "Regional Office". I will hang up on them next time.
My phone identifies the caller as "Reginal Office". (Possibly this should be "Regional"?) Three calls from them in 5 minutes, then later same day, then on subsequent days. No messages. I never answered.
*67 and called back. Automated system saying "you have reached an authorized agency of Blue Cross and Blue Shield, please leave you name and number so we can get back to you." I didn't . I had Anthem Blue Cross but have not since May when the "un"affordable care act decided the same coverage would be 810.00 more per month than it had been. No idea why they are calling and what kind of legitimate business would not show their company name on caller ID..
Asked for a "manager on duty." I knew it was a sales call and I put them on hold. Usually putting them on hold work, but not this time. Lady called back, and I was able to research the number first and since it was a 3rd party trying to sell insurance or compare rates, I said "Sorry we don't accept sales calls." and hung up.
TIPS: 1. Have these numbers written down so when they call again, you can put them on hold immediately.
2. If the person doesn't say the name of their company when they call and/or does not say the name of the person they are trying to reach, they are 99.9% of the time a sales call.
