The caller claimed to be from NREC (when I asked, the National Renewable Energy Center), and said they were a referral service for PG&E. I asked if they specifically represented PG&E. They said yes. I asked for their phone number, and he gave it to me: 1-877-593-2995. Calling that number does put you into voicemail for NREC. However, I also checked with PG&E and they confirmed NREC does not represent them, and PG&E has no relationship with any other company to sell energy services.
Just got yet another call from these jerks - they left a message - a "click" when I reviewed the latest "message." It's only going to get worse with these jerks as summer approaches and the sun is out longer. If they come to my door, I just open it with my German Shepherd standing next to me and say, "I'm not interested in solar power." I do this before they can even say PG&E or solar anything.
The last clown saw the sign by my door that shows a picture of a German Shepard and the statement. "I don't call 911." Apparently he rang the doorbell, saw the sign and got completely off the porch while he waited for someone to answer the door. LOL
I am on several do not call lists and have requested that this particular company stop contacting me several times. They keep on doing so and it is now a problem.
