I have recently attempted to apply for Scholarships for both if my daughter's. I was mis led by the website I was accessing, since it seemed that i was applying for Scholarships, when I was actually applying to a school. Both of my daughter's are already enrolled in school, and are not interested in transfering to another school. When i did speak to someone, I asked them to put me on their no call list. I was told that I would not be receiving any more calls from them, and I still get at least one call a day from them. I'm getting a little tired of this!!!!!!!!!!!!
I too am getting calls from this number. And others. It probably is a result of something I was exploring online. Unfortunately the telemarketing world has invaded cell phone numbers. This does not mean cell companies are providing your number. I know that my cell company Verizon Wireless (VZW does not participate in cell phone number directories) has an option to block up to 5 numbers from calling or texting your number. It's called call message blocking and is free and the number/s is/are blocked for 90 days. The blocked caller gets a message that they are blocked. Usually after that 90 days your number to call is off their list. Works for any number including 800 #s. You can call cust serv or do it online in your features section. Of course there are other options to block or manage calls and more but for a price, but you don't need it unless you choose. I'm sure other carriers have something similar. Not sure about home or office phones, but is probably a possible block option. I know, I never answer a number I don't recognize, but there seems to be more and more of them and are becoming annoying! Hang in.
As I was just reporting this damn company Education Advance and they effin called me on a different number. I finally answered on this number and told the guy to take my damn number off the list and he hung up before I was finished. [***]....
