Caller ID said "VA090943933000029" and then the phone number. Area Code 928 was AZ. We didn't answer and it left no message on our voice mail, so I blocked the number. I wish there was some way to send a bolt of electricity thru the phone to destroy their auto caller system or their ear drum. I'm running out of space block many more calls.
Nothing to add, as far as info regarding who this Arizona number is, but wanted to add that they called me here in PA at 12:48 PM on a Monday and left no message. Clearly spammers or scammers.
This number is from a bogus "Microsoft Technical Assistance company." They claim to be from Dallas, but a search of the area code points to Flagstaff, Arizona. They want your computer ID number and other info. I feel for people who will be frightened by what these jerks say, esp. senior citizens. I told the heavily-accented creep on the line that I was reporting this number to the NYS Attorney General's Office. Naturally he did not like that.
They refused to give their physical address beyond 'Dallas' and kept trying to get me to turn on my computer. Call appears to be from India with an AZ caller id
