Absolutely correct. I just got the Ariz call. I never answer the phone unless I know who is calling. Legitimate callers leave messages, scammers don't.
Called March 14 -- Caller ID said Page, AZ. My first from that area code and was a "Silent Call". Thanks to everyone who posts to clue the rest of us in. Will block for sure.
That's great. You answered a number you didn't know, and now they know they have a live number. Never ever answer a call from a number you don't know. If it's important the caller will leave you a vm and you can call them back.
