Just got a call (Feb 9, 2016) from this number, caller ID said New York NY, tel no 929-214-1571, when I answered, a brief delay, then a guy named Mark came on and said he was calling for Homeless Veterans of America. I said, "Mark, long time no talk" and he hung up. I looked up the organization on the web and got a BBB site that said the organization had not provided any information to BBB. It said:

I called that number and got a recording that it was temporarily unavailable. I called back the 929-214-1571 and got a recording saying all reps were busy but if you think you got the call in error, please press 5 to be added to their do not call list. I pressed 5. This telemarketing firm and the purported charity they purport to be calling on behalf of both seem of very dubious legitimacy.
