was called about 12:35pm about elite business consultants, information required to get started was my credit card number , when I refused , Caller informed me about the Ronald Reagan act that he had passed and how he just needed the number for registration purposes only and not to worry. Didn't feel right.
Elite Business Consultants called me 1/26/15 @ 12:06 pm. The initial caller was "Melissa." I listened to a 5-minute audio about researching local business for updating their credit card machines. I was told I would get $500 for each machine each merchant purchased thru them. I was promised an additional 1.2 percent for each swipe. How does THAT keep the merchants' fees lower? Then I was transferred to "Trevor" who iterated this and then let it slip that I would need to pay $1500 in " start-up." I asked what for??? Trevor, you just TOLD me I will be researching local merchants for YOU to contact. WHY do I need this? Trevor then stated that I was in good standing with my credit companies and they would waive this. Never actually stated what the start up was. I said I'm NOT paying YOU to work for you and hung up. "Melissa" gave me an additional number to call back if I accepted the job...1-866-221-8029. I assume it said, "Hello, sucker!" These guys are slick. Watch out for them!It all starts out sounding like legitimate home employment...
