Got call from this number, no one would respond. Who is this?

This is a call center for education network. If you click on a drop down regarding education your
phone number goes to multiple education centers.

Keep getting calls from this number everyday.  They never leave messages and if I answer, they hang up.  Tried to call the number back and it goes to a recording but never mentions a company name.

Got a call from this number saying they were from American Bank and that someone was trying to buy a house using my name.
