Well complaining never solved anything, but you could prevent some calls from calling you a second or more times by blocking the number. Scammers will keep calling people as long as people keep answering and falling for their tricks. Phone companies make money and don't care who is calling who, unless a crime has been pointed out to them and the law steps in to enforce it.
Just called 3x in a row. These spam calls are out of control, I hope someone is able to figure out how to put a stop to it. We don't pay our hard earned money for phone service so that scam-artist can constantly disturb our peace. Why do communication companies continue to allow their customers to be harassed and abused. I am grateful for this site. I hate not answering my phone and then wondering who it was that called but if you pick up from a caller you do not recognize you have to deal with an unconscionable, high pressure, evil-doer who couldn't care less that what they're doing is horribly wrong. McDonald's is always hiring. It's honest money. I wish they would try doing the right thing for a change and doing good.

Called 2x in a row, answered the call, silence and hang-up. I am obliged to answer the company's general phone number for all calls. I do not have the capability to block calls. This caller as well as many other callers of this type are constant nuisances, and waste company time.
Businesses and consumers beware...'Pascal' and 'Holt' claim to be with 'American Power & Gas'. Calls came from 937.573.4284 and they left a call-back number of 800.210.9011. They've been told multiple times that our power is included with our rent, and yet they continue to call and harass our receptionist. When they can't get to the person they want to speak to, they'll say 'That's not what this is about', trying to make their inquiry sound more official and/or to confuse the person answering the phone. It's clearly a deception to obtain company intel and based on the conversation I overheard, they're quite slick and slimy. Therefore, I've had our IT block their numbers.
