I was called by this number today. They displayed 941-251-8164. The woman that I spoke with (the "case manager") was very rude. I simply said that I was calling to verify if this was a scam and that I received an interesting call. The rude (likely a little rude, young girl) was extremely rude (which immediately gave off that it was obviously illegitimate) and said "look us up. It's 'Civil Arbitrators' if you can even spell that word. I'm not going to be abused by you (wow!....really?!?!?). Since you think it's a scam, just wait to be subpoenaed tomorrow since you think this is 'interesting.'" It's sad because I'm sure some people are fooled by this foolishness. First of all, the county doesn't give you a "heads-up" to warn you that they are "coming for you."
My husband received a call from a "Franklin" stating that his wife owes money for a cash advance loan on 2010. I asked my husband for the number and called him back at ext#3203. Stating that I owed a cash advance loan . he had my birthdate and my old address. I told him I didn't have a cash advance loan and he kept saying they would put a lein on my home if it wasent paid back. I asked him for proof and he became very rude and told me to call an attorney and he hung up. I googled up the phone number and came across this website. I was so pissed that someone out of the blue calls me up threatening me to pay back $500 or else they are going to put a lein on my home that I called right back, asked for Franklin Grant at ext# 3203 and cussed him out and told him what he can do with his $500 cash advance collection!!
Franklin Grant also has another phone number (980) 265-9972 From Civil Arbitrators. This number is from Charlotte NC!!! How can you call m from Sarasota Fla. and then call me from Charlotte NC in 45 minutes???
Scam. Lazar Lending is a phantom or zombie creditor, once part of Bahamas Marketing Group a known debt scamming operation. These groups are often used by debt scammers to set up a "creditor". BMG may still be alive, but not operating so far as I know. Ignore and block their calls and any caller who mentions this group. OR any other group you can't easily find any information on.
