This is a phone scam! I received the same call on Jan. 4, 2016. The person claimed to be from the irs and that a lawsuit was being filed against my name, not once did the person say my name, for tax invasion/fraud. The irs doesn't contact people by phone. If you can block that phone number like i did.
Seriously? I'm being investigated for Tax fraud and evasion?! Lmfao! My a$$! I pay my taxes, in full, every year. Unfortunately, I never get a dime back. But, they are definitely paid in full when the return is sent in. So with that known, this has to be some kind of scam. Or perhaps, it's a billing company using fraudulent scare tactics, which are highly illegal, to get Sheeple to fall for their bullsh*t and call them back. The only thing I can think of, is a medical bill we've been in dispute over, for the last 2 years, due to being overcharged. Don't fall for this people. Turn these pieces of sh*t in. BTW, the idiot who left a voice mail sounded like a foreigner. If I had to guess, I'd say he had an accent of those from India.
