As usual, didn't recognize the number and didn't answer. Sad to say, had to disengage answering machine once again because of this non solicited calls which means I miss important calls whereas caller unable to leave a message.
They are foreign Indians trying to CONVINCE you that they really are the IRS. I set my phone to redial and called them back 242 times. They answered IRS every time. I argued with them, cussed them out, told them I would hunt them down and blow them up, the usual stuff I say to crooks and liars but they still tried to convince me they were the IRS.

Not possible. Callers are located in India and Pakistan and as such beyond the reach of any US law. Invest in a call blocker and do NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.
