8:24 AM - From Diane Faulds - Not answered, no message. We have received calls with personal caller ID names, who say they are from Vietnam Vets, and who tell us a "truck will be in our area." We thought perhaps volunteers were using their personal phones to save the charity money. We no longer pick those calls up. Several of the "Vet" groups spend more of their income on fundraising, administrative costs, etc., than actual good-doing. We now choose charities that do not phone solicit. 941 is an area code in Sarasota, FL. There is a Diane Faulds on Google listed as living in Palmetto, FL. There is also a Diane G. Faulds tax service in San Diego, CA.
This person calls me at least 2 times a day starting at exactly 9 am and again between 4-5 pm even on the weekend. No message, just a nuisance call. I would never donate anything through this pest. Probabaly being paid to solicit donations.
