Most window washers work daytime hours.
Did you ask any of your neighbors for recommendations recently?
You might ask your neighborhood who they use for cleaning windows, as it is typical for these types of home services to try to promote themselves within a neighborhood once they have gotten on client in the neighborhood, and they often don't look at the Do Not Call list.
My neighborhood association has a Yahoo Groups listserve and one person recently asked for recommendations. One elderly couple has a housecleaner who cleans the windows on the outside about twice a year. That housecleaner has never asked me if I wanted her cleaning services.
soo i'm a senior in high school and i'm having a very nice day.
i get home, 7273625040-telemarketer calls. i answer, "Mrs. Bedford?" "no this is her daughter, and if you're trying to sell something i'm sorry but we're not interested so if you could take us off the list because i know it's just as much a hassle for you to call as it is to answer." then she gives me a very big thank you and says its a no win situation to try and sell to someone whos pissed off before they even pick up the phone and wishes me a nice day.
5 mins later....
941-745-9900 calls. "Mrs. Bedford?" "No this is her daughter" "well when will they be available?" "well... are you trying to sell something because-" "NO" click "Hello? you just hung up on me didn't you..."
what a way to ruin a day... if you want us to buy something you could at least afford to be polite and not make other telemarketers like the first southern lady look bad.
