This number just called our office and left a voice mail. Robocaller said: “Press 2 to reschedule. Press 3 to” and it disconnected. I blocked the number because those insistent merchant services jerks always want to (or act like they have) set an appointment with you for the next day. However, I do have a doctor's appointment next week so I'm going to call his office and ask him about this. It's a screwed up system if it WAS his reminder (this is new, his staff used to call to remind me), the message didn't include the name of the doctor or even the date/time of the appointment. Caller ID said "California" and I'm in Washington state so assumed it was another junk call. Bad system!

I did speak to my doctor's office about this, apparently they are getting a ton of complaints. THEY CAN INSTRUCT THE SYSTEM TO CONTACT YOU VIA EMAIL instead of pestering you with calls that don't give the necessary information. That is much more preferable to me - so problem solved on my end.
