Received a call today from this number ID Wireless Caller. Recorded female voice claimed she was calling from the IRS and they were starting a suit against me and please call back at this number. Not a chance. May have originated somewhere in CA. IRS doesn't call. Blocked.
These has to be a major scam. Why doesn't someone do something about this. I am retired and a widow on a fixed income. Why do they not get caught and the FBI go after them. They can't speak very good English and I told them so. They really scared me and I was very angry.
Calls originate in India and Pakistan. They spoof local numbers. Call blocker is your best bet and DO NOT pick up on call numbers you don't recognize. This is an IRS scam which has been around for some time.
