This is an IRS Scam. The caller claimed to be with US Tax Health Network, a company that appears to be bogus. He stated that I was delinquent on IRS taxes and would need to pay what was due or be in trouble with the IRS. When I told him that he called a police department cell phone he apologized and said that he would remove my name from his list. DO NOT Send any money to this organization or engage in conversation. Hang up the phone.
I got a call at 2:40 pm (2/10/16) from this number and a caller who identified himself as Richard Sullivan. He indicated that he was calling me about an enforcement action from IRS regarding unpaid taxes (I have none). He said in order to prevent my wages from being garnished (I am retired) or other confiscation by IRS he could assign me to a Federal Licensed Agent who could assist me in resolving the problem(s). I told him to slow down so I could write down his name and I asked for the name of his company. He said U.S.Tax Help. I asked him whether that was a government agency and he hung up on me.
I to received a call from above no there scam was for me about the same plus said they was going to see if I could get government help I will never give Ingo on line plus I told them I didn't even file what a scam
Some crazy guy states that I owe the IRS and that they have been contacted to help me out with that. I told him I did not think so so he hung up on me and I called back and hit 1 to be removed from them calling hopefully. Why is the government can fix everything else but they cannot force the telephone company's to quit selling phones and numbers to these criminals. I pay legit for my phones and telephone numbers but everyday even being on the do not call list for federal and state I continually get these unwanted calls. I believe I should be getting paid since I pay for my phone numbers and phones legally??? Why is that people who do the right thing get subject to this criminals through your landlines and cell phones???
I received a call from this number this morning. It starts out as a computer generated call but if you answer the questions like you are in need of their help, then you get a live person. Remember the IRS would not be calling you. He told me that I was flagged for owing taxes. I then asked him if he would come to my residence so that I could take a photo of him & he replied yes. I told him to get a real job. Caller ID read TAXUPDATE FOR THIS CALL. IRS SCAM!
This is a scam and this was on the news. DO not listent to them and what they are stating is false. They just want money from you, so hang up or dont answer the call if they call back
