Person was looking for a "James Jackson". They had my name and phone number, so I thought someone was using me as a reference, but I don't know anyone by that name. After they hung up, I realized they were probably trying to verify my unlisted cell number - darn their hides! So I checked 800 notes, and sure enough, they're baddies.
I'll block 'em on the cell, but what ticks me off is that I don't know how many other spammers they will sell my confirmed number to. Just shows you should never volunteer or confirm information from an unknown caller......
they called me today claiming my account was overdrawn with US Bank ... problem is i never had an account with us bank ... told them this and to refer to FDCA law !! ( fair debt collection act) and that the date they claim is outside of statute of limitation in my state and california!!!
when my attorney called they refused to give an adress !!
i am suing them for violations of fdca and threats made to harrass me and my family ...
Just caller id block and call them. Don't give them any info. Just give them an earful or just silence. then randomly hit redial all day long... See how the like it!
