951 is a california exchange. Received a call yesterday Jan 31st with the same message everyone else is getting. These are scammers. They use intimidation to get your personal info and bank info as well. Don't give these people any info, hang up and report these calls to your states attorney general, and your local authorities to create a paper trail. Local authorities can't do anything about the calls, but they can provide records of your complaint to other authorities such as the attorney general's office and other law enforcement agencies like home land security who do investigations. If there are several complaints to local authorities they will tell you what investigative agencies to call. Also, contacting the media, they want to know about this. Yesterday, on the local news, where I live, made an announcement warning the public about scam calls. This is income tax time and be aware that you may get other scam calls. If you do, hang up immediately and report it to the authorities.
The more people complain to government authorities about these fraudulent calls the sooner scammers will stop harassing the public.

That just happened to me and I looked up the number that came up and one he said to call. Yeah no that isn't how it works first of all and second he called me Rebecca number is being blocked for sure!! Be careful with the grant calls too everytime I tell them you're insane you've tried tried this to me already and wanted me to go to Walgreens buyou a gift card and blah blah blah. Don't fall for this stuff.
