I told that lady from Merchant Services to just send a letter because I was not going to transfer her to ANYONE here in my office. She said she could not send a letter that it has to be told over the phone to the President of the company. I told her if you can say it over the phone then you can put it in a letter and mail it. She went on and on and I would not budge. I already know she is a scammer but she's playing her part as a serious professional who only wants to let us know our account has been flagged and that the President needs to be informed. Lady, if our account is flagged then it's our damn business, not yours so don't freaking worry about it and go straight to scammer Hell!!
They called asking for the former President of our company. They say they are Merchant Services and that they need to talk to the new President about our account with them. WE DON'T HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM!! These so called Merchant Services people pop up everywhere but they are a bunch of phonies.
Got the same thing. Merchant Services wants to talk to the president and they can only tell him about changes to the account. Why wouldn't they just send a letter?? Scammers!!!

We have been getting the same calls for about 2 weeks here. Same, asking for the President of the company and his ss# tied to our merchant services account. We recorded the phone call and will report it. Annoying. They would not budge and same would not put anything in the mail.
