You can go to your cell service provider's web site, and they should have a blocking program. Verizion does, anyway. I just log into my Verizon account and enter the number I want to block. Anyone calling after they have been blocked gets a message to the effect that "the number you have called is not accepting calls at this time..." This number just got blocked! ;-)
Robo call.... Alison from the "Warranty Center" about a warranty that is about to end. The recording never mentioned the type of warranty (car, appliance, boat, etc.), and never gave a company name. Just said its the "it's the last call" before the warranty expires and repeats its the "Warranty Center". Said to push 1 to speak to someone. I hung up.
I didn't answer. I am getting daily calls from any variety of unrecognized numbers, and there is no doubt in my mind that they are all for the "car warranty is expiring" crap. I bought a Ford Focus back in 2010 and bought the extended warranty. And now even 7 years later I am being spammed daily with unwanted "car warranty expiring" calls in spite of my number being on the no-call list. This is going to eventually drive me to change my phone numbers as my blocked list is going to implode soon because of it. And, by the way - I'll never buy another Ford again because of this issue alone, even if it isn't "their" fault. They should have had better privacy contractual agreements with the third party extended warranty provider. Extended car warranties are a ripoff any way you look at them. They never actually end up covering anything you need.
