I also received a call from 951-809-0085; I too had the same results. I phoned Verison and asked about the number and shared my concern that someone was using this number as a scam. Verison stated that someone is using another type of technology to override this disconnected number. The woman I spoke with said she would be forwarding the information to her manager.
Have called multiple times and when I answer they do not say anything. Today I answered and they actually responded. They asked for me by name. They said it was not a sales call but my home may qualify for Solar initiative. I explained I am not the homeowner and that this number had called several times and nobody responds. I asked her to take me off there list and SHE HUNG UP ON ME!
About 2 weeks ago, we started receiving calls from this number, 951-809-0085. They call us and hang up immediately after we answer the phone. Happens every day in the morning, sometimes twice a day. We have put a block on this number.
