"Suzanne" from "Certified Direct" wanting to check the model number of the copier. I've heard this scam for two decades. How sad for people whose job it is to lie.
Yes they did the same to me, I work at a copier dealer so We laugh at these toner pirates. she asked me for the serial number on my copier -I asked which one - she said "the Big one"
I said seriously and she hung up. LOL
Received a phone call from Suzanne. She said they were getting ready to send out new manuals for copier and needed model number. I asked who she was calling from and she said "Certified Direct". I said we don't have a copier through them and hung up.
I got a call from "Lisa". She is getting ready to send out the new service manual and needs the model number listed on the machine.
I asked what company she was calling from and said, "Certified Direct". My response was that we didn't have any copiers with you. She hung up.
