Received a phone call from Suzanne. She said they were getting ready to send out new manuals for copier and needed model number. I asked who she was calling from and she said "Certified Direct". I said we don't have a copier through them and hung up.
Wow, the unfortunate thing is some people fall for this horse poop. I had fun messing with them back though. Serial number? Model number?What's that? Can you explain how many numbers are in it? Where do I find said serial numbers? But I don't understand? Do these numbers come in a certain color? What color are your numbers? Eventually they caught on and hung up:)
Same MO as above. Next time I will use Shelby's tactic above - waste some of their time for a change. Tell them I am looking at the copier right now - where do I find the number? Let me put my reading glasses on. Wait, I am dyslexic - was that number C2456, or C2546? Wait, that's the old copier, we have another one - want me to go look at that? Just put her on hold for about an hour while I go check.
